Today I'm talking nails and what products I love.
Up until about a year ago, I bit my nails. They were always short and in bad condition.
But something clicked and I stopped biting and started looking after them and now they look lovely.
With this new found respect for my nails I've realised how much care and attention they actually need!
I've started with products that I use that aren't colour.
These are things I use to strengthen or protect my nails.
I love the Sally Hansen hard as nails treatments. They really do work a treat with soft breaky nails.
I try to use a hand and nail cream as much as possible in my everyday life. I particularly like L'Occitaine's cuticle and nail cream. And once a week I'll use a cuticle balm/oil.
I prefer the Bourjois nail varnish remover as i find it is not hard and damaging to my nails, and its really easy to use, it works in seconds really.
And now onto my current fave colours for nail varnish... these are all very affordable varnishes, £4.99 being the most expensive. So less than a fiver, thats not too bad.
Naturally I love the Barry M glitteratti polishes. Theyre quite good for standalone products. I like to use about 3 coats to get a totally opaque look. Plus who wouldnt want mermaid tear nails?
But my absolute fave of the lot is the L'Oreal Colour Riche, being the most pricey one, it is my favourite colour. It goes on so well. I just think thjis colour is so lovely, its a creamy coffee kinda colour. I always wear this when I want to have grown up nails.
