Primark Finds - #31daysofmay

Ok I know, I missed 3 days of Mays blogging, BUT I have and STILL am ill! Hacking up stuff I wasn't even sure existed in the human body, and it's been so moggy as of late that outfit posts have been put on hold for the time being.
This morning...
(yesterday morning since its now 00.23 and this is being scheduled for later on today)
I got soaked by a ruddy bus, it splashed up mud and water onto my leggings, so as soon as I got into town, I popped into Primark for a pair of leggings, and wouldn't you know it, I sniffed out a sales rail!
I picked up some goodies which came to under £18.00 including 3 pairsa leggings which cost £10 in total. £8 quid for 7 items isn't bad at all!
The Boom/Bang necklaces were friggin 50p each!!

This hair slide was 50p too because one "gem" is missing.

I also took the plunge and got one of those aztec'esque type disc necklaces.

I kinda like it. I can see it going well with buttoned up shirts. Specially my denim shirt!

I picked up a bracelet too which has a few charms on it.

I spotted this bag, which when I tried the straps for length, I decided I have to have!

A girl can never have enough tan bags ok!

I added the skull keyring, which is from .... dun dun duuuuun, Primark too.

Its a good job I needed to get to work, otherwise Id have spent hours foraging for sales and bargains!

Lady Dates - #31daysofmay

So as per tradition, payday comes round and its time to go for our monthly catch up and shopping trip with Laura and Rachel.

What I Wore:

Shirt - Yours Clothing

Belt - Yours Clothing

Leggings - Tesco

Pumps - Tesco

Cardigan - Primark

We hit Primark early and its a good job we did because it was super busy still!

(I arrived late, so only had time to scope out the shoe section)

Rach and I both couldn't resist the mouse shoes they had.

As always we also went into New Look and Yours Clothing, and AS always, I bought something from both stores.

Although in Yours, I actually only bought underwear.

Which I will be reviewing soon!

I got some babely stuff from New Look, a pair of high waisted denim shorts, skater skirt and the Ka-Pow dress too. Among other things.

I love the button detail on these shorts!

We also went into Evans, and I gotta admit, I'm never really wow'd like everyone else is by the Clements Ribeiro range.

So many bloggers are mad about their clothing, and some of it IS nice, but I just don't see why!?

When we went to Evans, there was next to nothing from their new collection, and what was there, was really gross! They looked like pj's :/

But I still managed to get a sheer shirt from the sale.

I also tried on a few other items which I'd have loved to buy, but were full price, and way too expensive for me.

I wanted this lush ring, but at £10.00 its far too pricey for my £1.00 Primark bargains bank balance!

Then it was time for a burrito and some giggles.

As always, it was a glorious day with these two babes!

Barratts Platform Trainers - #31daysofmay

A while ago I got these bad boys from Barratts. I sadly haven't had that much time to wear them since I can't wear trainers to work that often, BUT I did manage to wear them last weekend to work. And they looked awesome with what I was wearing!

They are the Truffle Crinkle Effect Hi Top Platform Trainer which can be found here.

I got them in a size 8 and they're not as heavy as I initially thought they would be.

You can see them HERE in an OOTD post from last week.

I do love these trainers so much.

I only have one issue with them, and I'm not yet sure if its down to the ol new shoe thing, or if this will be a persistent issue... blisters :/ I wore socks, and my leggings were tucked into the shoe, so 2 layers of protection, but I still got TERRIBLE blisters.
Luckily I have a spare pair of shoes at work for emergencies so I could swap them, but still. I will have to try them again to make sure it wasn't just down to new shoe rub.
But aside for that, these bad boys are just amazing!

**I was given a gift voucher and allowed to choose the shoes I wanted from Barratts website. Barratts have not influenced this blog post, and opinions are my own**

Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Midnight Green NOTD - #31daysofmay

A quick NOTD today as I have been super unproductive today and just watched tv.

I got this nail varnish recently in an Avon Haul, I didn't quite know what to expect from the colour though as it was quite dark online,and was hoping it would be the same in person. AND it is!

Its a dark greeny, sorta almost cosmic green.

I love it!
