Payday Haul

So payday came and I decided to treat myself. 

I needed to replace my Studio Secrets pot as it had seriously been used and abused!

Here's all that I got.

Rachel had introduced me to Studio Secrets and I use it religiously before make up.

It feels so silky smooth on my skin! 

Id always been interested in this 8 hour cream lip balm for wearing at night but its a good lip balm for during the day. 

Trying this False Lash Effect mascara cos I have been loyal to Maybeline but i feel that its not doing what I need anymore. 

I have wanted to try Illamasqua lipstick for some time but never saw a colour I loved. But this one popped out for me

Cool as a Cucumber - Clay Face Mask

I recently picked up some single use face masks from Superdrug.

I wanted to try them out as I enjoy a nice relax in the bath, pampering myself.

The clay is lovely and cooling obviously. There is a faint cucumber scent, its nothing unpleasant at all.

Here's what it looks like on the face.

It's opaque and theres plenty to cover your face, I have a relatively large round face so as you can see, plenty to use!

The clay starts to harden quite fast. Even as you're still applying a second layer of the clay.

Along with my face mask I popped in a Golden Egg lush bath bomb.

I love this bomb, its a long release and it smells delicious.

It also leaves my body feeling amazingly soft for hours after!

And it also leaves the bath shimmery and glittery!

Drugstore Haul & Mothers Day Treats

As it was coming up to Mother's Day last weekend, I decided to pop into Superdrug to get a few things for my Mom. Im not gonna lie... I overspent! But Im not too bothered, I always say you shouldn't look at price tags when you're buying luxuries! I obviously also got some things for myself aswell. 
I got my Mom a lot of nail products, one of her fave perfumes and a nice little plant. Now you know where I get my nail varnish obsession from! (perfume not pictured as I gave it to her before wrapping up as I knew she desperately wanted it)

I got her the MAGICAL Bourjois Nail Varnish Remover Tub which truly is a miracle and this set of cute nail varnish remover cotton buds. So easy to use and handy for the handbag!


My Mom is a pearly pink kinda girl nail varnish wise. She had been eyeing up a Max Factor nail Varnish forever but refuses to purchase it because it's more than £2.00 so I figured I HAD to get her that one.

I also got her a little house plant for the lounge.

My Mom's lucky as we celebrate Mother's Day twice in our house, the British AND the South African one. Lucky her!

For myself I picked up some hair products, make up and nail varnish too.

Blogmas - Day 20 A Galactic NOTD

I talked about Rimmel Space Dust nail varnish in this post, and since then I have acquired another Space Dust varnish.  I got #006 Moon Walking, only £3.99 from Superdrug. Its a purpley silver colour, with flecks of silver glitter in. Its perfect for the festive season!!

I actually love the texture of this set of varnishes so much!  At first I didn't think I liked it, and I got used to it after a while, but now I really love this sugared rough effect. I only used one coat of the varnish and it is so opaque that I really don't need another coat. This pic has no filter, just cornered the sides of the pic, so you can see the actual colour, its magnificent!

Blogmas - Day 19 New Things

I bought stuff recently.

It is awesome stuff and yes!

I had seen these massive bows in Claire's for some time and decide to take the plunge and I'm super glad I did because this bow is so friggin perf!

 I picked up another Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick, this one is number 110.

 Its a gorgeous Coral Pink Orange colour.

And finally this gaudy horrendous new phone case I got off ebay.

It's so gross I LOVE it!

I also got another of the Space Dust collection from Rimmel in the colour Moon Walking, I'm so excited to try it on! And also just replaced my nose ring because my current one is so out of shape I needed to replace it STAT!
