Shake it like a polaroid picture!

I came across this company on facebook one day, thought it was a scam but for under £3 I figured I would give it a go.

And it worked just fine!

So FreePrints allows you to print 45 free images, you can log into facebook, instagram, or choose your own pictures from your phone, and all you pay is postage.

The photo quality reflects the quality of the picture you have chosen. So if its a grainy 1am club shot, it isnt going to be the best print.

They come double packed in a nice blue envelope and green photo envelope. 

They come in standard 4 by 6 inch size, but for a small cost you can choose to have larger prints.

I find the standard size fits fine for my needs.

If you take your pics directly from Instagram, you'll have a black side bar on either side of your image(seen below), these are easily cut off to create that Instagram square image.

I just cut along the outside of the actual image, I really love the square polaroid type photos, I love having these photos stuck up on my mirror. 

They do come in full size, I got a few pictures like this to keep for when I am 72, reliving the old days.

Photo Update/Dump

Sometimes I really do wish I had an iPhone so I could have instagram.
But since I have a Blackberry, I'm gonna put my photo's here.
I did however manage to download a nice little photo edditing app.
It did cost like £2.00 but its really good.
The free version of it is good enough, but I felt I wanted more!
Its called photo studio editor ... not much of an imaginative name there.
BUT... it works well!

Holiday Roundup!

So as you all know, I am on holidays/vacation till end of Feb!
I have been off for 2 weeks now and still have a FULL 3 weeks to go!
WOOO!

WARNING ... SUPER PICTURE HEAVY!

And even though I have had all this time off to get on with this and other blogs ....
boy have I been lacking!
For some reason, having this time off has made me a lazy blogger!
So I'm gonna say that this week is going to change that, however I can't promise!

Here's a taste of what I have been upto ion the last 2 and a half weeks!

I went to stay with my parents as soon as I had done my last night shift.
Just went for a few days, my mom hasn't got a new job yet so we spent alot of time "bonding" ha ha.
We went shopping when I arrived on Wednesday afternoon.
And I got some new boots =D LOVE EM!

Thursday we had bacon and cheese grilled sandwiches for breakfast, then we decided to make bath fizzies and cake!
We made banana cake and chocolate cake!
Loved making the bath fizzies, they left my fingers stained big time though, but so worth it!

Friday we went to TGI Fridays for some supper and Krispy Kreme's afterwards. And I went home to my Bear!

Then I had some time off to just do nothing really...
And sadly, i got sick :(
I don't even know what happened, but I just got real sick for a few days!
But I trooped through!

So I have been literally living in PJ's and hoodies and jeans!
And i never wear jeans! I have ONE pair!

Went shopping and bought a bit of make up and a gorgeous new purse!

Went out in town for Richards friends birthday.
And our friend Ryan came over for pizza, wine and chatting =D
I also dyed my hair purple, well the shorter side purple, and the long side I dyed red again.
I like it!


In the toilets of the pub, whilst on my way to being merrily inebriated, I saw this awesome piece of "graffiti"

Then went to my parents place again this weekend.
From Wednesday till Sunday!
Quite a long time, but I went to see my gran in Norwich too so kinda killed 2 birds with one stone!
Took the train this time because my mom was getting a massage in Pontefract, so it seemed silly for me to travel by coach for 2 hours to Sheffield when she was only like 30 minutes away!

On the train

Just chilled with my mom and dad most of the week.
Nothing too exciting happened.
Except my new found love for Body Shop soap!
Making fruit salad and cream for pudding aswell as making chocolate cake again.

On Saturday we made the 4.5 hour trip to Norwich, stopping at an "american diner" for breakfast.
I had eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes!
AND a hot chocolate with cream!
It was LUSH!
And called into a body shop whilst on the way aswell!
Just to fuel my moms addiction for fruit flavoured shower gel!

The year that was...2011

I know it's already half way through this month, however I wanted to do a little reflection of 2011.and shamelessly post chazillions of faces!

 So I trawled through my various photo's to find a few from each month last year.
Admittedly some months I could only find one picture.

But oh well...

Here we go!

January
I had just moved into Richards flat in Sheffield.
I got a job after a month of being unemployed.
We enjoy blissful nights on eccy road at The Tav, our favorite watering hole in Sheffield.

And end the month with a team night out where I get absolutely shit faced, then Richard gets his first tattoo and I classically throw up in the tattooists toilet. And we celebrate Richards birthday with a to to bottom crawl of Eccy road.

February
Richards obsession for MAKRO grows bigger everyday.
As well as his beard!
We spend many a day off going shopping at Waitrose, Aldi, Wilkinsons, and the Chinese Wholesale, buying mock duck and ramen noodles!
And send even many more a day off at Pho 68 on London road, pigging out on the best tofu and vietnamese food Sheffield can offer!

March
I move to North Kelsey Moor to work with my parents in their pub The Queens Head.
In the middle of no where... or North Lincolnshire as many refer to it.
I spend most days off gorging on starbucks frappacinos and on trains going back and forth between the pub and Sheffield to see Richard.

April
Still going to Sheffield to see Richard, we go to Meadowhall to face Richards fear of the shopping center.
Only to find he kinda likes it because he gets to shop for nice goodies for him.
My Snow globe collection grows bigger.
I stupidly dye my hair dark brown and instantly regret it.
We have one last night in sheffield starting with a treat at Wasabi Sabi, a Japanese Tapanyaki  pleace on London Road, and I try sushimi for the first time. I don't like the fish ones, tuna or salmon, or eel, but LOVE clam, scallop, and octopus tentacles. Then we go out for a big night in Sheffield, and Richards mom and step dad join us.
Richard moves to the pub and starts working there.


May
Richard buys me a 50cc scooter.
I named her Roberta. And she is a beauty!
We (including rick, my brother and dad) all have a go on her many an afternoon, cruising up the farm roads.
My parents go to Barcelona and leave Richard and I in charge of running the pub and restaurant.
We spend many a sunny afternoon laying cricket in the garden.
Richard goes back home (bradford) for a night of frivolous fun.
Then he moves to Bradford a week or so later.


June
I spend more time going back and forth between the pub and Bradford.
And also many a sunny afternoon relaxing in Richards dads garden.
I also become obsessed with pokemon, for the 5th time round.
I take an over night trip to sheffield for an interview at Plusnet and proceed to never hear from them EVER :(

July
I move to Bradford to live with Richard and to get a job there.
We go to watch the best punk band ever... Geoffry Oi!cott. A punk band that sings songs only about cricket.
I get a JOB!!
Working for a Vehicle Breakdown Service at International Breakdown.
I celebrate my 24th birthday, and Richard pays for me to get another hole in my face.
This time I get a Monroe piercing.


August
My parents leave the pub business and move to Sheffield.
I visit alot and find awesome Dinosaur toys in their garden from the previous occupants.
I go to Leeds Gay Pride and rekindle friendships with 2 lovely people.

September
 We move out of Richards dads place, and into our own 1 bedroom house 3 minutes walk from work.
We decorate the bedroom with purple walls chosen by Richard, and we get a sofa =D
We spend time with our friend Ryan and go to Kripsy Kreme in Leeds and pig out on donuts!!

October
 We spend a lot of time at Delius, our favorite bar in town. 2 for £5 on cocktails from 5pm till late. Bargain.
I start this blog.
We go to London with my parents and see our friend Ben.
Richards first time in London since he was a wee lil laddy, and his first time EVER on tubes.

November
I master the art of nail stickers.
I get my first Beauty box and Graze box.
I cancel all my beauty boxes and leave the Graze box subscriptions as very disappointed in beauty boxes really!
I also get my hair cut and shaved! and DYED pink!

December
I post regularly on my blog, specializing in shoddy OOTD posts.
We put out mini Christmas Tree up.
We spend Christmas with Richards family.
New Years Eve is spent at home drinking wine and eating pizza and playing on the xbox.

Now we're well into 2012 and it's shaping up to be a good January!
1 more night shift to go till I'm off for 5 weeks!

New Year Shenanigans, mini haul and random photos.

So on 1st January, my friend from South Africa came to stay for a few days.
We didn't do much on the night she came because she had come from Scotland to Bradford. With a meal break in between, which made the trip about 4 hours. Luckily though she got a lift with my parents who were in Scotland at the time!

We went to the pub for a few drinks and then home for pizza and drinks after.

Monday we decided to go into town to the Bradford Media Museum.
Before we went there we went for a Chinese buffet and got a few things in town.

As always, I pigged out on Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup. My absolute favourite Chinese meal!

We then walked round town and got a few things. Went to a PoundLand so Amy could buy cheap shit, ha ha.


And then  walked to the National Media Museum.
It was amazing! And FREE!!!!!

There were loadsa cool displays, but the best was the blue screen display!

Amy decided to have a go at the blue screen and show us on the map where she has been to during her holidays here.

Then Amy did a news broadcast on their recording "studio" camera which makes it into a little short news story with a real news reader and all.

It was fun!


 After about 3 hours in there we went home for pasta and movies.
Amy and I watched Sweeney Todd.

Yesterday (Tuesday) we said goodbye to Amy, and she got a train to Laindon.
(no clue where that is... Essex i think)


So Richard and I went into town for a few bits and bobs.
I got a few things I needed from BodyCare.

WOOOOOO Zume smoothies! I got a mango, peach and orange smoothie with extra strawberry for yummyness =D

Got some new hair slides from Primark!
They were too cute to resist so i had to put one on straight away!




We went into Pound Land to get a drink and saw this .... a Vajazzling Kit!!!!!
In POUND LAND!!!!! WTF! That's just wrong, not the fact that its a vajazzle kit, but the fact that they're selling it at pound land!
With naughty instructions on the back! GROSS!

Also got a nice pair of slipper socks too.

Holiday Season Picture Roundup

This post is super picture heavy!!!

A little while back we went to stay with my parents for a weekend.
Just before the 20th or so. On our way home we went to IKEA =D
We were looking for a table and my parents were looking for a washing machine for us too.
I absolutely adore IKEA! I want my house to solely be furnished with Swedish home furnishings!
Why do they do everything right?!?!?!?!?!!?!?
Honestly, i was like a fricking child in a FREE sweet shop! I just wanted everything! But we ended up just getting a table, place mats, food sealing bags and a few bits and bobs.

It also snowed that weekend. Like the only weekend it has snowed this winter! WTF with winter this year man! Last year it was like we were in the north pole, this year ... nothing! So weird!

We also went to Krispy Kreme's and got Christmassy donuts.
Well I did, Richard just got loadsa maple ones.

So Christmas Day I spent with Richard and his family.
I met his grandparents and we all went to his sister Fiona for Christmas Dinner.

Richard got me the Great British Bake Off Mary Berry cook book. And we're both getting each other another small gift next month. I got him a 10 cup Delonghi Coffee maker, which he seems to love!
And for his gift I'm paying for his next tattoo.












Richard and I both got massive stockings from my parents with a few silly Christmas themed gifts.
Grow your own Christmas tree and snowman.
Character toothbrush and toothpaste, I got hello kitty n he got spongebob.
Also 2 Christmas mugs each.

For works Secret Santa, I got my Director Ian.
I honestly was at a loss for ideas for him. What do you get the owner and director of the company for Christmas???
Well it came down to some goodies for his iPhone, or a personalized mug.
I had a few ideas for his iPhone, some camera gadgets you can add onto your phone, or stands for when you're not using it or covers, but they all seemed a bit naff.

SO... MUG it was then. And I saw a few name mugs which were tacky.
Then I saw this "coffee shop" mug.
And the funny part about it is that we have a list in the kitchen of what everyone drinks so we don't have to ask all the time, so i though this was rather fitting.
I ended up filling it with Christmas Cane sweets and some chocolate coins.





I got an awesome lil gift for my Secret Santa.
The other director and co owner of the company had me =D

She got me an "Ice Shot" pack.
It comes packed in a Smeg-like fridge tin.
Inside is 2 bottles of scnappes, and 2 shot glasses.

You put the shot glasses in the freezer upside down so the liquid in the bottom goes round the glass and gets cold, turning the shot glass into an icy shot glass.
Hence the name Ice Shot.
You then pour your shot of choice in and its a freezing cold shot =D
How nifty is that?!!!




Boxing day we spent together, we went to town to get a few things and it was absolutely packed at the retail parks. It was like doomsday was looming or something! :/ HORRIBLE!
Then i worked 2 days.
Then we went to Bridlington on Thursday and spent some time at the arcades, winning big time on the 2p machines, and Richard won 131 tickets on a game and we got 2 packs of sweets =D



We went into a few gift shops, as you do when at the seaside!
I bought some Briddlington rock, a Yankie candle and some Fudge.





And seeing as it was the seaside, you can't leave till you have chips along the promenade, and fresh donuts!



We also spent some time with Richards grandparent, which was nice!

Friday we did nothing all day. At work this weekend, and today my friend from South Africa comes to visit for a few day! EXCITED MUCH!???!!
Also, Mom and Dad are picking my friend up from Scotland as they were there for NYE celebrations, really convenient! So I get to see them aswell! I'm a happy chappy!!! =]

Hoping this day doesn't DRAAAAGGG too much!
