I WISH upon an app

A while ago my friend Daisy told me about an app called WISH. 

At first I was very dubious and sceptical about it, you'll soon fond out why. 

Let me tell you what its all about.

The wish app is free to download from the app store or google play store, simply search wish app. 

Once you've downloaded it you can get right to searching for almost ANYTHING your heart desires!

The app is similar to eBay, you search for what you want and buy it. 

The products come from mostly asian places like hong kong and china which means you are left with a 2-3 week wait. 

But most items are under £10. 

I thought maybe it was too good to be true so I hadn't purchased anything yet from it, until Daisy showed me some of her purchases. They're good quality and cheap! 

Here are some of the things in my wish basket: 

Everyones going mad for liquid to matte lipstick lately and Im one of them! 

I especially like the more curious colours that you don't get in the standard schemes.

So for £2 a pop, why say no?!

I always watch instagram videos of nail art and they always use this stuff that peels right off and I've always wondered where to get it from, well here it is! And only a quid.

I stumbled upon these little brushes and thought they were super cute. I don't often like mini brushes but these come in a nice tube which would fit right into my make up bag. 

Another mini make up item, this eyebrow kit looks great doesn't it?! its dinky and will make space in my make up bag since the current one i have is pretty bulky.

Now this is one I've been wanting to try. Its a lip stain. you leave it on for a while and its posed to leave your lips pretty and stained for 24 hours.

Two eye products just because. 

The eyeliner just looks nice. The lashes... well why not right?

This brush collection looked amazing and I really just loved the way the actual hair of the brushes looked. They look sleep and stylish.

These lipsticks just looked so cute and why not right, its only a quid a pop. 

I got this mascara for Rachels birthday but I totally want one myself too. The packaging is just too much, so cute!

This purse just looked super cute and handy for when I just want to carry a small bag. So having it all there together in one bag seems pretty sweet.

You know I'm always on my phone so having one of these power banks is vital! and only £6. 

These are my favourite pair of sunglasses, I have now repurchased them 3 times, soon to be 4. They're super cheap and last about 9-12 months so not too bad considering.

Some of these items i have had before from eBay but with a higher price tag so to find them on the wish app really pleased me!

I don't really wear too much jewellery on a daily basis and when I do feel like popping on a necklace it's never really anything too bold cos I just haven't found the right one for me.

I recently spent some time looking on easy at some later cut designs and I definitely fell involve with too many pieces.

BLOGTOBER - Day 2

Today I wanted to bring back Wishlists!

I havent compiled a wishlist for some time now.

I recently purchased a rather lovely dress (which will remain hidden till Halloween) from the lovely Lady V London. 

The dress is for my friends wedding so it needed to be something special. 

After trying on said dress, I was pretty impressed with the fit and quality of the dress. It's sparked a little vintage desire inside of me.
So here's a few I'd love to own.

I particularly love these dresses for the sweetheart style neck line and the cute capped shoulders. I love that the bow is detachable because i honestly prefer them without the bow. And with a puffy petticoat underneath, these dresses really give you that rockabilly feel.

Birthday Wishlist - Simply Be

I have been perusing through Simply Be and other Plus Size retailers for the perfect birthday dress and other items for my birthday weekender in Blackpool in July.
The count down is well and truly on!

Last year I was rushed to find things I wanted to wear so this year I am starting early. I think I may have to look at other shops and wishlist some of their items before I make up my mind at payday!

Yours Clothing Summer Wishlist

Yep... Im lusting again! This time over these cute Summer basics from Yours Clothing. Yours aren't always my fave, but there's one thing they do well and that's basics, in EVERY colour! Ive got my eye on some items, specially some lovely sandals!

I love the tops I have picked out, they're all really good pieces for mixing and matching and they'd be easy to wear with jeans, shorts or leggings.  Sadly the lace bottom leggings have gone out of stock but the second that email alerts me to them being in stock, Im nabbing atleast 5 in my size! H&M+ Summer Wishlist

Whenever Rachel and I go to Meadowhall we always pop into H&M, but I very rarely buy anything, their Plus section is often only one or two measly rails of basics. Their online store however is great.

New Look Wishlist

Every month when payday is around the corner, I check out a few things online, usually scrolling through dress after dress after dress whilst on the bus, on lunch break or back on the couch after work.  (thats if im not napping on the bus ofcourse)
This time round it's bee New Look I've been looking at and there are some items in at the moment I'd love to get my hand on.
Quite a few actually, I am not sure my bank would be happy with me doing one huge haul in one month so having to pick out the most important items for now, and lust over the rest. 
Here's my top picks from New Look:

I particularly love the Wednesday Adams style dress, I tried it on recently and it fits so perfectly, definitely going to be my first purchase at payday. And the off the shoulder black dress looks perfect for summer!

Beauty Wishlist #7

With all these eBay wishlists, it got me thinking about my current beauty wants.

So here's what I'm currently coveting:

EOS lipbalm // Babylips // Eyelure Lashes Smoky Poppy Bodyshop // Real Techniques Brushes // Essie Nail Polish Thierry Mugler Angel // Kate Moss Lipstick

I have had a few EOS lip balms, but I'd love to stock up and have one of every bag, purse and coat I own. They're handy and pretty durable. Plus the lip balms not only feel amazingly nourishing on your lips, they smell delicious too!

The same goes for Maybelline Babylips lipbalm, easy to just chuck in your purse/bag or coat pocket and the tinted ones are good if you don't wanna put on lipstick. I specially use them in the winter when my lips need care but I still want colour on them.
They also have some nice scents, specially the Pink Punch one, which is has a peachy smell and is the best barbie pink colour!

I really enjoy a BOLD perfume so this Thierry Mugler Angel dinky is perfect for me. I always get compliments when I wear this or Alien.

A VERY Lush Wishlist

So you may or may not know that I am a fan of Lush.

As I said in a previous post, I adore a nice long hot bath with all the stuffs in, bath bombs, bubble bars, oils soaps.

Here's my current Lush wants:

Some of these are items I've not yet tried, some are old fave's. I particularly LOVE Each Peach massage bar, It's got a great scent and is nice and soft, I love how the oils are activated by the warmth of your hands, this is particularly good to use after shaving my legs to keep them soft and nourished. Another I adore is the Rose bubble bar. It's got a very delicate scent and is super easy to crumble under running water.

Christmas Wishlist

I never expect anything at Christmas because my parents do so much throughout the year that I really don't ask for anything from them.
